  • Senda de la Tebaida Berciana (PR-LE-14): This circular route is one of the most emblematic in the valley. It begins at La Herrería de Montes, near the Oza River, and follows old paths connecting the monasteries in the area, such as San Pedro de Montes. The route offers panoramic views and a tranquil atmosphere, ideal for hiking enthusiasts.
  • Columpio de Valdecarrizo: Located near San Clemente de Valdueza, this swing offers a spectacular view of the valley and the city of Ponferrada. The route to the swing is accessible on foot or by bicycle, suitable for families and inexperienced hikers.
  • To facilitate access to the valley’s points of interest, the Ponferrada City Council has reactivated the Tebaida minibuses during the August weekends. These guided routes include stops at notable sites such as Peñalba de Santiago, the Church of La Asunción in Villanueva de Valdueza, the Monastery of San Pedro de Montes, and the Tejo de San Cristóbal. Visits last between 40 minutes and one and a half hours at each point, promoting sustainable tourism and reducing traffic on local roads.
